Mala Monsoon Green
108 small handmade ceramic beads make up this long exquisite necklace. It has been crafted using a mix of beads in some of our most gorgeous green glazes, inspired by the colours of our landscape during monsoon season, and interspersed with Afghani brass spacers. It is long enough to also be worn wrapped around the neck twice as a beautiful short double necklace.

The mala is traditionally used for counting as you repeat a mantra – or prayers. Some viewed the number, 108, as a number of the wholeness of existence. This number also connects the Sun, Moon and Earth: the average distance of the sun and the moon to earth is 108 times their respective diameters.
