Mala Ladybird Bracelet
A luscious bracelet created using our ceramic beads in red and ebony and combined with small bone beads from Tibet. The red glaze contains crystals that break across the surface of the bead during firing creating a random pattern in ebony ringed with turquoise. Threaded on very strong elastic and interspersed with Afghani brass our bracelets are easy to wear and will fit a multiple of sizes.
Bead size: ceramic-10mm / bone-8mm
Medium: fits wrist circumference up to17cm
Large: fits wrist circumference 18cm
The mala is traditionally used for counting as you repeat a mantra – or prayers. Some viewed the number, 108, as a number of the wholeness of existence. This number also connects the Sun, Moon and Earth: the average distance of the sun and the moon to earth is 108 times their respective diameters.
